The defending champs are back on track with an 8-6 win over Nova Scotia to move back into a playoff spot at the Tim Hortons Brier in Calgary.
Brad Gushue and company jumped out to an early 5-1 lead and never looked back in an 8-6 win over Nova Scotia. That moves them to 3-2 and in fourth spot in their pool, slightly ahead of NS which is 3-3.
Canada’s next two matches are against PEI (12 p.m. NST) and Greg Smith of NL (10 p.m. NST.)
Smith has dropped to 1-5 after a loss to John Epping of Ontario.
In addition to the all-NL matchup tonight, Smith faces Nunavut in the first draw of the day at 12 p.m.
