Toronto Raptors vs. Milwaukee Bucks (Jan. 27, 2021): Live score, updates, news, stats and highlights - NBA CA

The Toronto Raptors and Milwaukee Bucks meet for the first time this season.

The Raptors enter the matchup with a 7-10 record, putting them on the outside looking in on the Eastern Conference playoff race. The Bucks are 10-6, tying them with the Boston Celtics for the second-best record in the Eastern Conference.

The game begins at 7:30 p.m. ET. It will air on TSN in Canada and League Pass in the United States.

Fourth quarter

9:33 p.m. - Two big plays from Donte DiVincenzo to start the fourth quarter. First, he throws down a dunk on Yuta Watanabe.

Then, he picks off a pass from Kyle Lowry and draws a flagrant foul on Lowry, earning him two free throws and possession for the Bucks, which leads to a 3-pointer for Bryn Forbes.

7-0 run for Bucks.

End of third quarter: Milwaukee Bucks 83, Toronto Raptors 82

9:18 p.m. - What a response by the Raptors. They close the quarter on a 9-0 run, making this a one-point game going into the fourth.

Norman Powell has been terrific. He's up to a game-high 23 points on 7-for-9 shooting from the field and 4-for-6 from 3-point range. The Raptors are going to need more of that from him to close this out.

9:16 p.m. - Just when it feels like the Raptors are falling behind, they string together a small run to get themselves back in the game. This time, Stanley Johnson drains a corner 3-pointer to cut Milwaukee's lead to five points.

9:14 p.m. - Khris Middleton is heating up. He drains back-to-back 3-pointers, giving the Bucks a 10-point lead again.

9:06 p.m. - Bucks go on an 8-0 run to extend their lead to 10, their largest of the game. Important minutes coming out of the timeout for the Raptors.

8:57 p.m. - Fred VanVleet drains another jumper, this time from midrange. It caps off an 8-1 run to start the quarter for the Raptors. Milwaukee's lead is now down to two points.

8:54 p.m. - Fred VanVleet's first basket of the game? A banked-in 3-pointer. Let's see if that gets him going after he missed all six of his shot attempts in the first half.

That makes 50 games in a row in which VanVleet has made a 3-pointer, by the way, extending his franchise record.

End of second quarter: Milwaukee Bucks 63, Toronto Raptors 54

8:38 p.m. - The Bucks outscore the Raptors 30-21 in the second quarter to take a nine-point lead at the half. The Bucks have hurt the Raptors on the glass in the first half, turning 10 offensive rebounds into 16 second-chance points.

The last one hurt the Raptors the most, with Torrey Craig coming up with an offensive rebound and setting Middleton up for a 3-pointer in the closing seconds of the second quarter.

Norman Powell is the only Raptor in double digit scoring at the half with 15 points. It's been a struggle for Fred VanVleet, who has missed all six of his field goal attempts, but he does have a game-high eight assists. VanVleet also has three blocks.

Giannis Antetokounmpo leads the Bucks with 14 points, nine rebounds and five assists. Brook Lopez (12) and Middleton (11) aren't far behind the two-time MVP in the scoring column.

8:29 p.m. - The timeout worked. The Bucks have outscored the Raptors 14-3 since the 7:44 mark, giving them a 56-50 lead with 2:30 remaining in the half.

8:24 p.m. - Kyle Lowry has drawn two charges this quarter. He's something else.

8:20 p.m. - Make that 10-for-19 from 3-point range for the Raptors. A triple from Chris Boucher gives them a 47-42 lead with 7:44 to go in the half. Timeout Bucks.

8:18 p.m. - The Raptors continue to light it up from deep. They're now 9-for-16 from 3-point range in the game.

Toronto's latest 3-pointer - a step back 3-pointer from Terence Davis over Giannis Antetokounmpo - gives it a four-point lead.

8:11 p.m. - Tie game at the end of one. It's been a 3-point shootout so far, with the Raptors and Bucks combining for 12-for-27 shooting from 3-point range.

Norman Powell has a game-high 10 points, continuing his strong play this season as a starter.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton lead the Bucks with eight points each.

8:08 p.m. - Another blocked 3-pointer for Chris Boucher. He's up to 10 blocked 3s on the season, the most in the league.

7:59 p.m. - Aron Baynes has played well for the Raptors to start this game. He heads to the bench with seven early points, tying him with Pascal Siakam for team-high honours.

7:50 p.m. - First break in the action. Both teams are shooting the lights out, with Milwaukee shooting 3-for-6 from 3-point range and Toronto shooting 4-for-6.

Bucks have the slight edge early, leading 17-16 with 6:30 to go in the frame.

7:46 p.m. - An encouraging start for Pascal Siakam in his return. He's already scored five points, draining his first 3-point attempt followed by a runner from just outside the paint.

7:43 p.m. - Kyle Lowry hits a 3-pointer in transition to get the Raptors on the board.

Lowry makes some history in the process, becoming only the third player in franchise history to score 10,000 points.

Pregame

7:12 p.m. - No surprises from the Bucks: Jrue Holiday, Donte DiVincenzo, Khris Middleton, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Brook Lopez get the start.

7:00 p.m. - Pascal Siakam (left knee swelling) is available. He'll start alongside Kyle Lowry, Fred VanVleet, Norman Powell and Aron Baynes.

6:19 p.m. - Update: OG Anunoby (left calf strain) has been ruled out for tonight's game.

5:52 p.m. - Raptors head coach Nick Nurse said pregame that Pascal Siakam (left knee swelling) and OG Anunoby (left calf strain) are both game-time decisions, per Blake Murphy of The Athletic. Nobody is on the injury report for the Bucks.
