Georgia's injury report for Notre Dame - 247Sports

ATHENS, Ga. -- It's finally here. The game Georgia fans have circled one their calendars for almost two years will take place later on today when the No. 3 Bulldogs play host to No. 7 Notre Dame.

All eyes are on this one, which is widely considered as the biggest non-conference clash of the season. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET on CBS and ESPN's College GameDay made its way to town on Thursday. Kirby Smart's Bulldogs come in as a 14.5-point favorite while the Fighting Irish will be doing everything they can to show that last seasons College Football Playoff appearance was no fluke.

As hard as it is to fathom, there's even more hype around this game. Earlier in the week there was buzz that the Bulldogs might wear black jerseys but that was put to rest on Friday. The new red LED lights in Sanford Stadium will be used to the first time tonight and a record crowd will see them. Georgia brought in 500 temporary seats for this one to accommodate an extra 500 tickets allotted to Notre Dame, returning the favor from the 2017 game in South Bend. It's going to be a big one.

UGA is dealing with a number of injuries as this game approaches. None of them are major but some of them are to key players. Dawgs247 gives our take on the Bulldogs' injury situation below.
