According to a frightening new report, Kendall Jenner is lucky to be alive right now.
And we're not really exaggerating.
The model and reality star is thankfully in the clear now, however, because The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency has arrested her ongoing stalker.
Sources close to the situation have told TMZ that 38-year old John Ford has been on the radar of ICE for many weeks now.
For those who have not followed this frightening story, Ford is the man who showed up on two occasions at Kendall's home, uninvited and unannounced of course.
Last October, he even climed a hill and ended up by Jenner's swimming pool, returning again shortly thereafter and ending up on her porch.
YIKES, right?
Per this same TMZ report, Ford is a Canadian citizen whose visitor visa expired; he was therefore in the United States illegally, which is why ICE agents were on the hunt him.
He was finally apprehended on Monday in New Mexico at a hotel.
And while celebrities getting stalked is (sadly) not so unusual, an ICE spokesperson has told TMZ that this was an especially troubling case.
It could have gone very badly very quickly.
"This timely arrest could very well have prevented a violent crime," says the spokesperson, adding:
"Our special agents acted quickly on this tip to ensure that this obsessive behavior didn't escalate to become a tragedy."
Ford is now in ICE custody in El Paso, Texas, awaiting a deportation hearing.
Good riddance, right? Seriously.
Says the Kardashian-Jenner family in a statement:
"We are extremely appreciative of the hard work by the Los Angeles Police Dept. and ICE, whose swift response and professionalism led to this man's apprehension.
"His actions have not only had a severe impact on Kendall's life, but the entire family's sense of security, causing us to fear for Kendall's safety as well as our own.
"Knowing this individual is in custody gives us peace of mind."
ICE, of course, has made its presence known in another significant pop culture way of late.
The agency also has Joe Giudice in custody because Teresa's husband is now out of jail... and will soon be out of the country.
A judge decreed last fall that the reality star, who is also not a U.S. citizen, must be deported because he committed a felony.
Sucks for Joe and his family, but at least he didn't threaten to murder a Jenner.
He'd be far even more notorious if that were the case.
