Devin Booker is on a roll offensively, and nobody seems to have a way to stop him.
His hot hand, though, is still not enough to lead the Phoenix Suns to a win.
Booker dropped 50 points and grabbed 10 rebounds on Wednesday night in the Suns’ 124-121 loss to the Washington Wizards at Talking Stick Resort Arena, marking his second-straight 50-point night after he scored 59 points against the Utah Jazz on Monday</a>.
The 22-year-old is now the youngest player in NBA history to record back-to-back 50-point games, and is just the second player in Suns history to do so, too. Booker had 30 points in the first half alone, as he did on Monday night, making him just the third player in the past 15 seasons with back-to-back 30-point halves.

Despite his pair of stellar offensive performances, however, the Suns failed to win either game and have now lost four straight.
The Suns were much closer to winning on Wednesday night, though, after their 33-point blowout loss on Monday. Both teams bounced back and forth throughout the whole contest, and neither grabbed a lead of more than seven points.
The two teams remained locked up with just 16.4 seconds left in the game, too, thanks to a pair of 3-pointers on each end from Wizards center Thomas Bryant and Suns guard Jamal Crawford.
However Bryant, after Bradley Beal drove to the corner with time running out, caught a pass right in front of the hoop and made the layup while picking up the foul, giving the Wizards a three-point lead with less than three seconds left in the game.

While the Suns had one last chance, Troy Daniels failed to hit a shot from behind the arc, giving the Wizards the three-point win.
Beal and Jabari Parker led the Wizards with 28 points each. Parker finished with a double-double off the bench, too, adding 15 rebounds. Jordan McRae added with 21 points in the win, too, which snapped a five-game losing streak.
Booker had some help offensively on Wednesday, after he was the only Suns player to score in double figures Monday night. Daniels added 15 points off the bench for Phoenix, and Deandre Ayton finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Both Crawford and Dragan Bender finished with 12 points, too.
