Edmonton Oilers forward prospect Dylan Holloway will miss at least three months after having a second surgery on his wrist.
The 2020 first-round pick previously had surgery to repair a scaphoid fracture in his wrist in March while he was playing at the University of Wisconsin. However, according to a statement from the team, "during the recovery process it was determined by Oilers medical staff and surgical hand specialists that he required further surgery."
Holloway signed his entry-level contract with the Oilers in April and will rehab from his latest surgery in Edmonton.
The six-foot-one centre dominated the NCAA last season as a sophomore, scoring 11 goals and 35 points in 23 games.
