The Edmonton Oilers 50/50 raffle reached over $15 million Friday night, but the winning numbers were not posted as planned after the draw was plagued with technical problems.

Several Albertans complained on Twitter that they were charged for tickets that they did not intend to buy. The online purchasing system would time out after payment information was entered, prompting users to try again. In some cases, the payment was processed, resulting in multiple charges.

The winning numbers were to be posted no later than 11:30 p.m. Friday. As of 8:50 a.m. Saturday, they have not been.

Twitter user Megan Oppel wrote: “We tried buying tickets and it kept timing out and we ended up getting charged 6 times but we only wanted to buy one set of tickets. Fix this now!!!!! I want my money back.”
