NHL announces 2021 Stanley Cup Final schedule - Sportsnet.ca

For the first time in 28 years, the Montreal Canadiens have reached the Stanley Cup Final.

After eliminating the Vegas Golden Knights with a dramatic overtime win in Game 6 of their third-round series, Montreal will now await the winner of Friday’s Game 7 between the Tampa Bay Lightning and New York Islanders to see where they will travel for the start of the final round.

As we wait to find out the Canadiens’ opponent, the NHL announced the full Stanley Cup Final schedule on Friday. The puck will drop on the Cup Final on Monday, June 28 in either Tampa or New York and a potential Game 7 would be played on Sunday, July 11, if necessary.
