Miley Cyrus is no stranger when it comes to exposure.
The “Wrecking Ball” singer towed the line of Instagram’s stance against nudity — and widened some eyeballs in the process — by posting a picture on the social media site that left nothing to the imagination.
Decked out in frayed denim shorts and a rolled-up sheer white tank top that showcased her nipples, Cyrus, 26, wrote that she is “getting more basic by the day.”
“The only thing the ‘new me’ loves more than a mirror selfie is a self timed one,” Cyrus chimed.
It seems even Cyrus is aware that her snapshot can be tamed.
“PS this is getting removed soon! I’ve been warned by the (Insta)gram gods!” she ended the post.
Despite the warning, the picture is still online, garnering more than 4.8 million likes in the process.
Under Instagram’s community guidelines, nudity isn’t allowed on the photo-sharing site. That includes “photos of female nipples.”
However, pics with bare breasts that feature “post-mastectomy scarring and women actively breastfeeding” and photos of “paintings and scultptures” with nudity are allowed.
Cyrus is no stranger to nudity, having posed topless and nude during her Bangerz phase after her first public split from Liam Hemsworth. The “Party in the U.S.A.” singer has also supported the #FreeTheNipple campaign on social media, which aims at desexualizing female breasts.
