Cardi B has been indicted by a Queens grand jury over her ongoing strip club brawl case, ABC News reported on Friday morning (June 21).
The charges “were not immediately clear” according to the ABC report, and will not be unsealed until her arraignment on Tuesday afternoon (June 25).
TMZ reports that Cardi was indicted “on 14 charges, including two counts of felony attempted assault with intent to cause serious physical injury. Other charges include misdemeanor reckless endangerment, assault, criminal solicitation, conspiracy and harassment.”
Cardi was facing misdemeanor charges in the case following a fight at a strip club, in which she was accused of throwing chairs and bottles at two bartenders.
She rejected a plea offer from the district attorney’s office in April. At the time, Cardi was offered a plea deal that would have required her to plead guilty to misdemeanor assault in the third degree. She would not have done jail time and if certain conditions were met, the case would have been dismissed.
