Brooklyn Beckham is reportedly dating actress/model Phoebe Torrance, who bears a striking resemblance to his mother Victoria.
The son of the fashion mogul and her soccer star husband David found the new flame after splitting from former girlfriend Hana Cross two months ago, but 25-year-old phoebe’s resemblance to the former spice girls singer hasn’t gone unnoticed.
In fact, the model used to work as a Victoria Beckham lookalike early in her career, and a source told Britain’s the sun newspaper friends have teased Brooklyn, 20, about his “Oedipal” attraction.
“A few of his friends have teased him about it but Brooklyn is adamant that there is nothing ‘oedipal’ about it — or words to that effect,” they said.
“But Phoebe told pals that she actually did a few jobs as a Victoria lookalike in her early modelling days, the money of which helped fund her university course. presumably, she never thought she might one day meet her idol.”
Phoebe is the daughter of former professional golfer Sam Torrance and has starred in movies including horror Mandy the Doll and boxing drama six rounds.
She also featured in a single episode of Friday Night Dinner as Mandy the waitress.
