Archie Harrison has ginger hair, just like his dad!
Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan confirmed their son’s hair colour while speaking with winners at the WellChild Awards in London on Oct. 15. At a reception for winners held before the ceremony, the couple told Milly Sutherland , 11, and her mother Angela that Meghan had taken their son to a playgroup class.
“She took him to one of these baby classes today and she said they had loads of fun together,” Angela said, according to HELLO! UK.
At one point, Milly, who is a redhead herself, pulled a string of her own hair, which prompted her mother to ask the duke and duchess if Archie was also a ginger.
“Meghan said he has [red hair] and Harry said he definitely is [a redhead], you can see it in his eyebrows,” Angela said. “Harry said he’d had no hair for five months, but Meghan told him she had taken him to the playgroup and she said there were other children there with the same amount of hair or even less.”

Milly is the recipient of this year’s Most Caring Child Award, which she’s being given for the care and protection she gave her sister Sophie. Sadly, her sister passed away from Aicardi Syndrome last year. It’s a rare genetic mutation from the absence of a key structure in the brain, which causes symptoms such as vision problems and seizures.
Milly also reportedly told Harry she was starring in a pantomime production of Aladdin, and suggested he play the genie, saying, “I’ll paint you blue.”
“So I’ll be blue with ginger hair – that’ll look nice!” Harry laughed. Hey, they’re complimentary colours, right?

The WellChild Awards was Harry and Meghan’s first joint engagement since returning from their 10-day tour of southern Africa earlier this month. Harry has been a patron of the charity since 2007, and after Archie was born the organization was one of those the couple asked fans consider donating to in lieu of sending them gifts.
We last saw Archie on Sept. 25, when Harry and Meghan took him to meet Archbishop Desmond Tutu and his daughter Thandeka at the legendary anti-apartheid activist's charity headquarters in Cape Town, South Africa. He giggled and babbled along on his mom's lap during the visit, and had a great time!
