Tiger Woods is set for the follow up to his april Masters victory at the 2019 PGA Championship this weekend, and to say it’s eagerly awaited is an understatement.
Woods captured his 15th career major in stunning fashion, but will face stiff competition to win No. 16. Brooks Koepka will go for back-to-back PGA Championship victories. while Rory McIlroy, Rickie Fowler, Dustin Johnson and more of the world’s top golfers will look to take the spotlight — and the Wanamaker Trophy — for themselves at the Bethpage Black course on Long Island.

When is the 2019 PGA Championship?
Play at Bethpage Black begins on Thursday, May 16 and runs through Sunday. Here’s the full schedule of play:

What will the weather conditions be like?
Practice rounds early in the week were marked by a muddy, wet course thanks to plenty of rain. The precipitation is expected to taper off, though clouds will persist and keep temperatures in the mid-to-high 60s throughout the weekend.
The conditions could lead to Bethpage Black being more difficult than usual, with the thick, sticky grass having plenty of nourishment, but there’s little expectation that weather will cause much of a delay in play.
